چکیده
A reliable method for characterizing quantum operations that is suitable improving and validating their accuracies indispensable realizing a practical computer. Known methods are still not sufficient because they lack reliability or use in the improvement validation steps. Here we propose characterization accuracy step. First, introduce new self-consistent estimator with regularization physicality constraints designed validation. Second, mathematically prove provides estimation results stringently physical converge to gauge-equivalence class of interest at limit data size going infinity. The asymptotic convergence guarantees method, regularized ensure suitability task. We also derive rate, which would be optimal. Finally, show numerical on 1-qubit system, confirm theoretical proposed practical.

Self-Consistent Analysis of Barrier Characterization Effects on Quantum Well Laser Internal Performance
In this paper, a numerical study of barrier characterization effects on the high-temperature internal performance of an InGaAsP multi-quantum well laser is presented. The softwareused for this purpose self-consistently combines the three-dimensional simulation of carrier transports, self-heating, and optical waveguiding. The laser model calculates all relevant physical mechanisms, including the...
متن کاملSelf-Consistent Quantum-Gravitational Quadrupole Fluctuations
To establish a self-consistent system of mutually interacting gravitational quadrupoles, a characteristic number N of quantum masses μ are related to a characteristic velocity scaling. For this purpose a critical reference is defined by the flux and flux number of mass quanta constituting a confining unit field generating mass mG = Nμ. In the field of mG any small test mass orbits at unit dista...
متن کاملExperimental Demonstration of Self-Guided Quantum Tomography.
Traditional methods of quantum state characterization are impractical for systems of more than a few qubits due to exponentially expensive postprocessing and data storage and lack robustness against errors and noise. Here, we experimentally demonstrate self-guided quantum tomography performed on polarization photonic qubits. The quantum state is iteratively learned by optimizing a projection me...
متن کاملSelf-protected quantum algorithms based on quantum state tomography
Only a few classes of quantum algorithms are known which provide a speed-up over classical algorithms. However, these and any new quantum algorithms provide important motivation for the development of quantum computers. In this article new quantum algorithms are given which are based on quantum state tomography. These include an algorithm for the calculation of several quantum mechanical expect...
متن کاملConverging Self-consistent Field Equations in Quantum Chemistry – Recent Achievements
This paper reviews popular acceleration techniques to converge the non-linear self-consistent field equations appearing in quantum chemistry calculations with localized basis sets. The different methodologies, as well as their advantages and limitations are discussed within the same framework. Several illustrative examples of calculations are presented. This paper attempts to describe recent ac...
